Joins the Switch's wireless. ESP32-S3, C6, C3 or the original ESP32.
The Switch's wireless is encrypted with keys from the console. Four of them go from this file to the board over USB. Nothing is uploaded.

GB-Link adapter
Plugs into the Game Boy Advance in place of a Wireless Adapter, with a Game Boy Color link cable. A Game Boy Advance cable does not work here.
- Put the adapter in update mode
- Let the browser use it: click the button and pick RP2 Boot
- Write the firmware

Install a .uf2 of your own:
By hand: hold BOOTSEL while plugging the adapter in, then copy the firmware file onto the RPI-RP2 drive that appears.
Play
Let this page carry the link, or connect the two boards with three wires.
Ruby and Sapphire have no wireless. This page links them by cable and turns that link into the Switch's wireless, so both boards stay on USB. Trades and single or double battles, with the Switch leading.
Pokémon from Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald may not be tradable out of the Switch's game until it has the National Dex and has finished the Sevii Islands story (Cerulean Cave shows on its town map). Only while this page carries the link, not with the boards wired. FireRed and LeafGreen need no bypass: leave it off for them.

Standalone
Three wires between the boards, powered from anything. This page is not needed while you play.
Connect the board in step 1 to see which of its pins go to the adapter's GP8 and GP9.

On the consoles
- Switch: upstairs in a Pokémon Center, Direct Corner, Trade Center or Colosseum (single or double battle), become the leader.
- Ruby or Sapphire, with the adapter on the link cable: upstairs in a Pokémon Center, talk to the attendant at the middle counter to trade, or the left one for the same kind of battle.
- The page joins the Switch's group once the Game Boy Advance has linked. Accept the join on the Switch, then walk to the trade table, or onto the battle spots, on both consoles.
- Leave the room on both consoles when you are done. After that the board restarts and is ready again about ten seconds later.
- Switch: upstairs in a Pokémon Center, Direct Corner, Trade Center or Colosseum, become the leader.
- Game Boy Advance, with the adapter on a Game Boy Color cable: pick the same thing and join the group. The Switch shows up after a few seconds.
- Or the other way round: become the leader on the Game Boy Advance and join its group on the Switch.
- After you leave the room, the board restarts and is ready again about ten seconds later.
Trade

Your own party as .pk3 files, kept in this browser. What the Switch sends takes the place of what you gave.

Once you are both at the trade table, click a Pokémon to offer it. ↓ saves one as a .pk3 file, ↑ replaces it; dropping a file on a slot does the same.
The pool's Pokémon shows up here once you are both at the trade table. Accept trade offers it, before or after you pick yours on the Switch. Cancel trade declines it. For a different one, leave the table and sit down again.
Kept here
The pool did not confirm these trades, so what the Switch gave is kept here. ↓ saves one as a .pk3 file.
On the Switch
- Upstairs in a Pokémon Center, Direct Corner, Trade Center, become the leader.
- Press Connect here, then accept the join on the Switch.
- Sit down at the trade table.
- CANCEL at the table takes you back to the room; sit down again for another trade. Leaving the room ends the visit.

Keep the tab in view while you trade: a hidden tab runs too slowly for the game.
A Pokémon that arrives takes the slot of the one that left. Offer it again to trade it straight back.
Online with Celio
Game Boy Advance and emulator players connect at celio.gblink.io; another Switch player uses this page.

How it works
- Create a session and send its Session Id to the other player, or join theirs. On a Game Boy Advance with a GB-Link, or in an emulator, they use celio.gblink.io. Both press Start.
- The Celio server decides which side leads. The page then says whether to lead a group on the Switch or to join the group it opens, and in that case asks which room.
- On the Switch: upstairs in a Pokémon Center, the Direct Corner, then the Trade Center or the Colosseum. The other player goes to the same room.
- Leaving the room on both consoles ends the session. Keep this tab in view while you play.

On the Switch
- Mystery Gift has to be on the game's main menu first: answer a Poké Mart questionnaire with LINK TOGETHER WITH ALL, then save. The first Poké Mart shows its questionnaire once you have the Pokédex.
- Press Start here, then on the Switch pick MYSTERY GIFT, WONDER CARDS, FRIEND, and choose GBLINK.
- Once the card is saved, talk to the deliveryman in green upstairs in any Pokémon Center.
- The page stays ready: pick another card for the next one, on this Switch or another.
Where the cards come from
All of them come from gblink-wondercards. Event distributions and the Project Wonder (Goppier) events are the FireRed and LeafGreen events there, the same bytes the distribution cartridges send. The GB-Link Team's cards are built for the Switch's FireRed and LeafGreen and run on its English games.
